As a member of the Zonta Club of Brisbane, you become part of a global community with a rich history and bright future. As a club member, you’ll also have opportunities to step up into leadership roles and contribute to committees and projects that make actual, genuine differences within the community.

Our Committees

  • Advocacy

    As a non-partisan organisation, our Advocacy Committee engages with all levels of government and agencies to advocate for women and girls on matters including child marriage, homelessness for older women, and women's safety.

  • Service

    The Service Committee helps the Zonta Club of Brisbane execute its strategic plan through the management and delivery of local and international education awards and supporting key club projects.

  • Fellowship

    The Zonta Club of Brisbane promotes the spirit of Zonta through fellowship activities that focus on service, alumni and fundraising. We organise and host member events, lunches, wine tastings and outings!

  • Fundraising

    Funding local awards and service projects for the Club, the Fundraising Committee organises events, raffles and other activities. In 2023, the committee raised over $26,000!

  • Membership

    The Membership Committee is responsible for recruitment of new members, maintaining membership levels and managing membership matters. They run mentoring programs for new members and other activities to increase diversity and awareness of the Club’s activities.

  • Communications

    Responsible for internal and external comunications for the Club, the Comms Committee manages the Club’s digital presence, public image and builds awareness for the Club’s projects.
