Zonta International President Visits the Club!

With the 2024 International Convention being held in Brisbane, the Zonta Club of Brisbane had a special visit from the Zonta International President!
Ute Scholtz (Germany) Zonta International President and Zonta Foundation for women, Alison Summers, Executive Director, Zonta International, Judy Gorton, Zonta Club Perth and 2024 Convention Chair, Sandy Venn Brown, International Board Director, Jane Reid, Vice President Ipswich Zonta Club, and Jane Adornetto, Zonta Club of Geelong and member of the 2024 Convention Committee. And that was just the start!
Ute was able to see three new members be inducted by Area Director and Brisbane club member, Gwen Jull AO.
As well, seven members of over 25 years membership were honoured for their steadfast contribution to Zonta Brisbane while excelling in their careers and paving the way for women in all walks of life.
Under the global 16 Days of Activism campaign, the club endorsed funding to 4 worthy organisations supporting women and girls in Brisbane.
